The nameboard inscribed:

Longman and Broderip Musical Instrument Makers
No. 26 Cheapside and No. 13 Haymarket London

Made by, and signed on the reverse of the nameboard:

No. 466 Culliford & Co Makers Fountain Court Cheapside London Sept. 17**.
Signed the same on the top key and reading "1785".

Compass FF-f3 with ivory naturals and ebony accidentals.
2x8' & 1x4' stops controlled by three hand stops and pedal.

The mahogany veneered case with walnut crossbanding and boxwood stringing; the lid with brass strap hinges.
The stand a careful reproduction, but with the original pedal.
